Thanks so much to Keller Williams and Kares 4 Kids for their donation of 50 soft and snuggly bears to our center to be used as comfort items! Janice Baldwin, a local Keller Williams Realtor, visited our center to take a tour and give us the bears. We are so appreciative of our supportive community! Thanks Janice, Keller Williams and Kares 4 Kids.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! This is our favorite month of the year because it's focused on PREVENTING child abuse. Would you like to help us work towards prevention and help us to continue providing healing for children who have been abused?

Here are a few ways you can:
Educate yourself
  • Schedule a Stewards of Children's Darkness to Light course by calling us at 770-464-0026
  • Visit Pinwheels for Prevention to learn more about the blue pinwheels you'll be seeing around town in the coming weeks
  • Visit Prevent Child Abuse Georgia's website to read up on what's going on in Georgia

Spread the word
  • Share our website, Facebook and Twitter with anyone and everyone you know. Invite your friends to like us on Facebook, share our posts and tag us in posts!
  • Post a selfie with a pinwheel and tag us and #GACAPmonth2015 to show your support for preventing child abuse

Donate
  • You can donate online through PayPal here or can mail us a check to 216 Brookstone Place, Social Circle, GA 30025.
  • Make sure you're registered with Kroger community awards, Amazon Smile, and KidCents by RiteAid. Visit the "Donate" page under "How Can I Help" for more information on how to easily donate to our center through these programs.
  • We are always accepting donations of various items. See our Amazon wishlist here for specific items.
  • Join us Tuesday, April 28th from 6-8pm at Chick-Fil-A in Monroe. A portion of proceeds from dinner that night will go to A Child's Voice!

Do you have other ideas of how you can support us? Let us know!
Thanks for all of the support this month and always!

    A Child's Voice
